The Grand Opening:
‘Theatre of the Underwater'

Fisheries Minister Jon Ford officially opened the Naturaliste Marine Discovery Centre on 4 April 2007.

Moments after Mr Ford cut the ceremonial ribbon, the Centre resonated with the noise of enthusiastic guests, as a diverse assembly of students, families, media, scientists and people from the fisheries community explored this unique “Theatre of the Underwater”.
